CCAP and JCB International Forge Partnership to Advance Financial Literacy in the Philippines

The Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) and JCB International Co., Ltd. have officially formalized their partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement signed today, April 30, 2026, at the RCBC Office, Robinsons Equitable Tower.

The agreement was signed by CCAP Chairman Mr. Rolando P. Ebreo and President Ms. Geraldine C. Liggayu, with JCB International’s Mr. Takumi Takahashi, who executed the agreement in Japan. The signing was witnessed by Mr. Wataru Tamura, Country Manager, and Mr. Yasutaka Nomura, Business Development Head of JCBI International Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. – Manila Branch.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to advancing financial literacy and promoting responsible credit card usage across the Philippines. Key initiatives under the partnership include the development and localization of financial education materials, support for industry advocacy campaigns, and the delivery of Credit Card 101 sessions for partner communities. It also covers the co-creation and cross-platform sharing of educational content to reach broader audiences, particularly the youth.

Through this partnership, CCAP and JCB International aim to empower more Filipinos with the knowledge and confidence to make informed financial decisions.
