Credit Card Association of the Philippines and Kaskasan Buddies Formalize Partnership to Advance Financial Education

The Credit Card Association of the Philippines (CCAP) officially formalized its partnership with Kaskasan Buddies Ventures Corporation through a contract signing ceremony held today in Ortigas, attended by officers and committee heads from both organizations.

The agreement was signed on behalf of CCAP by Chairman Rolando P. Ebreo, President Geraldine C. Liggayu, and Executive Director Alex G. Ilagan. Representing Kaskasan Buddies were Joel Khristopher Cabugos, CEO and Co-Founder, and Jax Reyes, Corporate Secretary and Co-Founder. Leaders and representatives from both CCAP and KKB were also present to show their full support for the collaboration.

Under the partnership, the organizations will work together to produce educational video content featuring authorized CCAP representatives, conduct financial literacy sessions annually, enhance previously developed CCAP learning materials, and actively support key advocacy campaigns promoting responsible credit card use. They will likewise jointly develop community engagement initiatives and co-branded activities aligned with financial education and consumer awareness objectives.

Through this collaboration, CCAP and Kaskasan Buddies aim to expand their reach and educate more Filipinos on the responsible use of credit cards—empowering consumers to make informed financial decisions and contributing to a more financially inclusive Philippines.
